About the Founders
Ferronato is a Swiss family owned company shaped by four generations of entrepreneurship. The brand was co founded by Sandro Ferronato, third generation, and his daughter Alessia Ferronato, fourth generation.
Together, they share a clear vision: to create beautiful leather bags and accessories that quietly take care of what matters in today’s connected world.
Rooted in family values and guided by a deep respect for craftsmanship, Ferronato brings tradition into modern life through thoughtful, forward looking design. Each piece reflects a balance of elegance, discretion, and innovation, created not to follow trends, but to endure.

1906
Giovanni Ferronato laid the foundation of the family legacy by opening a factory for molded products in Lugano. Though industrial in nature, the business was grounded in precision, craftsmanship and sustainability.

1952
The second generation of the Ferronato family, led by Natale Ferronato, introduced new technologies into the company. In the late 1970s, his wife Maryse drew on her quiet strength to lead the company through a decade of change.

1980
Sandro Ferronato took over, expanding the business globally to 21 branches across 16 countries. Today, he serves as group chairman.

1992
The group launched MetaFab®, a patented metalized fabric that provides advanced electromagnetic shielding. Adopted in over 100 countries, it became a trusted standard across critical industries.

2021
The Ferronato luxury brand was born under Alessia Ferronato’s fourth-generation leadership. It marked a new chapter in the company, which began producing elegant leather goods with electromagnetic protection.

2022
Ferronato debuted at Expo 2020 Dubai, the first luxury brand to focus on both craftsmanship and privacy. Over 300,000 visitors discovered its powerful vision.

2023
In May 2023, Ferronato opened its first boutique in Switzerland, where the company has its roots. This milestone brought the brand’s vision of enhanced privacy into a physical space, blending tradition with contemporary style.

2024
Ferronato moved its headquarters to the Ferronato Castle in Attalens, Switzerland. The castle now serves as both a creative sanctuary and a symbol of enduring excellence.

2025
Ferronato took a bold step forward, expanding its distribution across the United States and Europe. Now, with global growth on the horizon, the brand is breaking new ground once more, positioning itself as the only luxury brand in the world dedicated to safeguarding privacy through its products.
